Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8-inch) pie shell, unbaked
1 c. pecan halves
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation

Spread pecan halves over the bottom of the unbaked pie shell. Beat the eggs until frothy.
Add sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla and butter.
Blend thoroughly.
Pour filling over pecans in shell. Bake 10 minutes in hot 450\u00b0 oven.
Reduce the heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 35 minutes longer.
