Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bread
butter
1 lb. bulk sausage
1 1/2 c. shredded Longhorn cheese
6 eggs, beaten
2 c. half and half
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Remove crust from bread.
Spread slices with butter.
Place buttered side down in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Set aside.
Cook sausage, stirring to crumble.
Spoon over bread. Sprinkle with cheese.
Combine eggs, half and half and salt.
Mix well.
Pour over cheese.
Cover and chill overnight.
Let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until eggs are set.
