Patsy'S Crock-Pot Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    2 large potatoes, pared and sliced
    2 to 3 medium carrots, sliced
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas (or drain a can of peas)
    onion and celery, sliced (if desired)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
    1/4 to 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Place a layer of vegetables in the order given.
    Season each layer with salt and pepper.
    Put the lightly browned ground beef on top.
    Mix the tomato soup with the water and pour into crock-pot.
    Cover and cook in the crock-pot on low for 6 to 8 hours.
