Sour Cream Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. whole corn syrup
    1 c. sour cream, thinned with milk to consistency of whipping cream
Preparation
    Cook in heavy saucepan over medium heat to soft boil stage. Put cover on pan for first few minutes and cooking time will be shortened.
    Remove from heat; drop in 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
    Cool to 110\u00b0 without stirring.
    Stir; beat until it becomes thick and begins to lose its glossy look.
    Pour immediately onto a buttered plate.
    Do not spread.
    Cut when set.
