California Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. chuck roast
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    2 c. black coffee
    1 1/2 lb. bacon
    1 large zucchini
    1 (4 oz.) jar mushrooms
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
Preparation
    Cut bacon into bite size pieces; fry until done.
    Drain excess grease.
    Add cubed zucchini to bacon; cook until zucchini is done. You may have to add a tablespoon of water with the zucchini. After zucchini is done, add the jar of mushrooms, the mushroom soup and enough water to make a sauce consistency.
    Cook rice according to directions on the package.
    To serve, pour sauce mixture over rice.
    This is so delicious.
