Carrot Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. cooked, mashed carrots
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix in order given.
    Drop by tablespoon on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Frost while warm with confectioners sugar icing.
