Yellow Squash With Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 yellow summer squash (about 1 1/4 lb.)
    1/4 c. olive oil
    2 whole cloves garlic, peeled and left whole
    salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Trim off ends of squash and cut into thin rounds, about 6 cups.
    Heat oil in large, heavy skillet.
    Add squash, shaking skillet and redistributing squash rounds.
    Add garlic, salt and pepper and cook over high heat about 4 minutes.
    Sprinkle with oregano and toss to blend.
    Remove garlic.
