Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk, scalded
    2 c. dry bread cubes
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Soak bread cubes in scalded milk for 5 minutes.
    Add butter, salt and sugar.
    Gradually add beaten eggs.
    Add vanilla.
    Fold in raisins.
    Bake in Pyrex dish in a pan of a little water until firm (insert knife in center to see if firm) at 350\u00b0.
