Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 small can cream-style corn
    1 chopped onion
    3 jalapeno or chili peppers
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    3/4 c. grated cheese
    chopped bell pepper and celery (may be added)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Bake in greased casserole at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    This may be baked in a large ring mold and filled with beef stew, chili or chicken a la king.
