Erna Martin'S Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. shortening
    3 eggs
    3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Cream the sugars and shortening. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift together the flour, soda and salt and add to mixture.
    Mix well. Add vanilla and chopped nuts.
    Make into rolls.
    Cover with wax paper. Refrigerate. Slice and bake when needed. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
