Bavarian Supper Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (11 1/2 oz.) cans condensed pea soup
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. mixed vegetables (corn, peas and carrots)
    1 1/2 c. chopped, peeled potatoes
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 c. celery
    1/4 c. green pepper (optional)
    1 1/2 lb. smoked bratwurst, thinly sliced
    1 1/2 tsp. dill weed
    1 1/2 tsp. onion powder
    1 to 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder (optional)
    2 bay leaves
Preparation
    In a large kettle, combine all ingredients. Cover and cook over medium-low heat until vegetables are thawed and mix boils (about 10 minutes). Simmer, covered, 25 to 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
