Fried Rabbit - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cottontail
2 eggs
2 c. bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 ??? lard
Preparation

Cut rabbit into pieces.
Put in skillet and saute in lard. When brown, remove and cool pieces.
Beat eggs.
Dip rabbit in egg and then into bread crumbs.
Season with salt and pepper.
Fry until brown.
Remove rabbit from pan and slowly add flour and milk.
Stir until gravy thickens.
Pour over rabbit and serve.
