Apple-Cinnamon Pecan Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 c. margarine, softened
1 c. granulated sugar
1 egg plus 2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. undiluted evaporated low-fat milk
3 c. peeled and diced shredded baking apples
3/4 c. chopped pecans
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Set aside.
In a large mixer bowl, cream margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
With mixer at low speed, alternately add flour and milk, ending with flour mixture.
Stir in apples and pecans.
Spread batter evenly into lightly greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool 20 minutes.
