My Favorite Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Cream butter;
    add sugar and syrup, creaming constantly. Add the salt to the eggs and beat until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs to
    the
    first
    mixture.
    Add
    the vanilla and broken nut meats. Pour into
    a
    9-inch pie pan lined with unbaked pastry. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
