Egg Layer Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 pieces loaf bread, buttered on both sides
    1 lb. pork sausage, browned and drained
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese
    8 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place 6 pieces of buttered bread on bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 sausage and then cover with 1/2 of cheese. Repeat layer one.
    Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
    Pour over layers and cover.
    Set in refrigerator for at least 3 hours, but best to set overnight.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until browned.
