Squash Cheddar Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    6 c. cooked salted yellow squash
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    1 c. sour cream
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 egg whites, beaten stiff
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    6 slices bacon, fried
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 small onion, sliced
Preparation
    In 12 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish, layer 1/2 squash.
    Mix next 3 ingredients.
    Fold in whites and cheese.
    Crumble bacon on top. Repeat layers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10.
