Salata (Tossed Salad) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. tomatoes
1/2 head lettuce
1 cucumber
1 clove garlic
salt and pepper to taste
some green mint
1 bunch green onions
1 Tbsp. oil
1 lemon
Preparation

Cut tomatoes in cubes.
Cut the lettuce; peel and cut cucumber.
Mix tomatoes, lettuce and cucumber.
Mash garlic with a sprinkle of salt and add to mixture.
Add one bunch of chopped green onions.
Wash and add some fresh green mint if it is in season.
(If not, sprinkle on dried mint.)
Squeeze lemon and add to mix.
Spread with oil and some pepper.
Mix the ingredients and enjoy a breath-taking of garlic and onions.
Serves 4 people.
