Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/3 c. sugar
    1 lb. butter (2 c.)
    10 eggs
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Add vanilla and salt.
    Beat thoroughly. Place in oven at 275\u00b0 and bake for 1 hour.
    Turn heat to 300\u00b0 and bake for another hour or until done.
