Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1/4 c. Crisco shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. Nestle Quik chocolate
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 oz. red food coloring
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. white vinegar
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and chocolate together.
    Cream shortening and sugar until very smooth.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Blend well and add food coloring and vanilla.
    Mix buttermilk, vinegar and baking soda.
    Add dry ingredients and buttermilk.
    Mix alternating to the creamed mixture.
    Blend at slow speed between each addition.
    Grease and flour pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. This can be put in three cake pans.
