Artichoke-Oyster Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    2 Tbsp. flour
    minced garlic
    2 cans chopped artichoke hearts
    1 qt. oysters and liquid
    1 qt. hot milk
    1 can chicken broth
    parsley
    green onions
    Tony's seasoning or salt and pepper
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in butter.
    Add flour.
    Blend in.
    Add oyster liquid, chicken broth, artichokes and milk.
    Season to taste.
    I use Tony's.
    Simmer (do not boil) for 10 minutes.
    Add oysters, chopped green onions and parsley before serving.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    If too thick, add a little hot water or thicken with a little cornstarch and water.
