Shrimp Curry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 large onion
    1/2 c. apple, finely chopped
    1/2 c. celery, finely chopped
    1 1/2 c. water
    3 lb. shrimp, cleaned and cooked
    2 Tbsp. curry powder
    1 pt. cream
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add onion, apple and celery; simmer.
    Add water. Cook until chopped ingredients are tender and most of the liquid has cooked away.
    Stir in seasonings; add cream and shrimp.
    Cook gently, until cream is reduced to sauce consistency.
    Serve over rice.
