Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. corn meal
3 Tbsp. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
1 egg
1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion (more if desired)

Preparation

Combine corn meal, flour and onion.
Add egg gradually; beat in milk.
Drop from a spoon into hot oil, where fish has been fried.
Fry until golden brown.
