Vanilla Wafer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers, crushed
    1/2 c. milk
    1 (7 oz.) pkg. coconut
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Line bottom of deep bowl (glass looks best) with layer of sponge cake, split and spread with raspberry jam.
    If desired, soak with sherry.
    Then add a layer of fruit (preferably raspberries, well drained).
    Add layer of custard or vanilla pudding.
    Make a Jell-O and when ready set, pour over firm custard.
    Top with fresh whipped cream.
    Decorate as desired with glace cherries, angelica, grated chocolate, etc.
