German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk with 1 tsp. soda dissolved
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. German chocolate, dissolved in 1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Cream the first 3 ingredients together.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating after each.
    Add alternately the buttermilk, flour and salt.
    Add chocolate in boiling water.
    Grease and flour 3 round cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
