Freezer Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 large tomatoes, peeled, cored and quartered
    4 small onions, chopped
    2 green peppers, chopped
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Boil ingredients.
    Simmer for 1 to 2 hours, until some of the moisture cooks off.
    Pour 2 or 3 cups slowly into blender or food processor; process on high speed until smooth.
    Pour into freezer containers, leaving 1-inch headspace.
    Freeze.
    This makes an excellent base for chili and pasta sauces.
