Hamburger Steak In Mushroom Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 egg
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 pkg. dehydrated onion soup mix
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. liquid (juice from mushrooms and water)
    1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms
Preparation
    Combine meat with egg, crumbs and seasonings, and half the onion soup mix.
    Shape into patties and fry in the cooking oil. Remove the browned hamburgers.
    Add flour to frypan and stir while it browns lightly.
    Blend in liquid, stirring vigorously until smooth.
    Stir in remaining onion soup mix and mushrooms.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Return meat to skillet and cook slowly 5 minutes.
    Serve with rice.
