Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head green leaf lettuce
    12 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. sweet onion, chopped
    1 (10 oz.) box frozen peas (uncooked)
    2 c. mayonnaise
    4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Layer in bowl first 5 ingredients, then mix mayonnaise and sugar.
    Spread on top of salad then top with grated cheese. Refrigerate 12 to 24 hours.
