Colonial Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. finely grated onion or onion flakes
5 Tbsp. white vinegar
1 c. Crisco oil
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. paprika (optional)
Preparation

Combine sugar, mustard, salt, onion and 2 tablespoons of the vinegar in a blender or mix with electric mixer on medium speed. Add oil slowly (on low).
This will be thick.
Add remaining vinegar and lemon juice.
Beat well.
Stir in celery seed and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
