Congo Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. margarine
    1 box light brown sugar
    1/4 c. white sugar
    3 eggs
    2 3/4 c. plain flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Cream sugars and margarine.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder; add this to cream.
    Mix and add nuts and vanilla.
    Pour into greased baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
