Cherried Cranberries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. fresh cranberries (remove all soft ones)
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. cold water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in a very large pan.
    Cover and boil very gently over low heat for 15 minutes.
    Do not remove cover. Remove from heat and set aside until completely cool.
    Spoon into jars.
    Keeps for weeks in refrigerator.
