Ingredients

1 1/2 c. white flour
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. warm water
1 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation

Stir dry ingredients together.
Work in shortening thoroughly. Add water slowly until dough is formed.
Cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
Divide into balls and roll into thin rounds.
Cook on hot griddle until done on both sides.
