Real Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. corn meal
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. cream-style corn
1 c. milk
1 egg
1 Tbsp. shortening or lard

Preparation

Mix all ingredients well.
Melt in bread pan the lard.
Pour sizzling grease into the mixture.
Pour into a hot pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown.
