Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 3/4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Beat shortening and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture. Combine rest of sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Roll dough into balls and roll in sugar mixture.
Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Yields 4 dozen.
