Raisin Cake * - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. King syrup
1/4 lb. butter or margarine
3 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. allspice
2 level tsp. baking powder
1 level tsp. salt
2 lb. seedless raisins
Preparation

Mix eggs, sugar, syrup and melted butter or margarine together.
Sift flour, allspice, baking powder and salt together in mixture.
Batter will be kind of stiff.
Add a box of raisins, one at a time, and mix well.
Use a 9-inch spout pan.
Line bottom of pan with paper and grease well.
Cook in heated oven at 250\u00b0 for 2 hours and 35 to 40 minutes.
