Caramel Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
3 qt. popped corn
2 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Grease the sides and bottom of a large pan with butter.
Add the 3 quarts of popped corn and set aside.
In a heavy pan, combine the white sugar, butter or margarine, brown sugar, Karo syrup and pecans.
Cook over medium heat 15 minutes after it starts to boil or to 300\u00b0 on a candy thermometer.
Pour over popped corn and toss.
Turn out on a greased cookie sheet; cool and break into pieces.
