Ingredients

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 c. milk
4 Tbsp. butter
3 egg yolks
7 Tbsp. plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix brown sugar and flour together in pan. Blend milk and eggs yolks together and blend into dry ingredients until smooth. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla, stirring well until mixed. Pour into pie shell. Top with meringue.
