Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Cream together sugar and butter. Add remaining ingredients. Chill dough overnight (or freeze it until you're ready to bake). Roll out dough on floured surface until 1/4-inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Place on ungreased sheet. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes or until just barely brown on edges. Cool and ice cookies. Enjoy! Makes 2 dozen big cookies!
