Grandma William'S Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 lump butter (1 heaping tsp.)
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 heaping Tbsp. flour
    2 egg yolks
    1 baked pie crust
Preparation
    Mix together in saucepan brown sugar, butter and water and boil until thick.
    Blend in a separate bowl milk, flour and egg yolks.
    Mix flour mixture into syrup mixture and cook until thick. Add vanilla and pour into baked pie crust.
    Cover with meringue and brown.
