Sourdough Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    6 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. warm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. sour milk (may sour milk by adding 1 tsp. lemon juice or vinegar)
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Mix dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening.
    Add milk and yeast; mix.
    Cover and refrigerate until cold.
    Roll out on floured surface; cut.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake for 15 minutes in preheated 450\u00b0 oven.
    Dough may be stored in refrigerator for over a week.
