Canadian Snowflakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon rind
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. lemon juice
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. milk
    sifted powdered sugar
Preparation
    Beat butter at medium speed until creamy.
    Gradually add flour. Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness.
    Cut with a 2-inch round cookie cutter right on cookie sheet.
    Remove excess dough from cookie sheet.
    Using a drinking straw, randomly cut holes in dough, removing dough by slight twisting of the straw.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 6 to 7 minutes.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
