Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1/3 c. milk
    1/2 to 1 whole slice bread
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 c. boiling water
    4 bouillon cubes
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    milk or water
    Crisco
Preparation
    Pinch the bread in a medium bowl.
    Add milk, salt and pepper. Mix until mixture will hold together to make patties.
    Make patties and flour each side and brown on each side.
    Make gravy with boiling water and add bouillon cubes.
    Stir until cubes melt.
    Take cornstarch mixed with milk or water to make a thin paste.
    Turn the bouillon broth and add the paste slowly into it.
    Put browned patties in a greased baking dish.
    Pour gravy over top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
