Seafood Salad(Main Dish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. fresh or frozen shrimp in shells
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice mix (Uncle Ben's)
    1 1/4 c. frozen peas, thawed and drained
    4 oz. fully cooked, smoked sausage, sliced in bite size pieces (Healthy Choice)
    1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimiento, drained
    1 (0.75 oz.) envelope garlic and herb dry salad dressing
    1 (6 oz.) can crabmeat, drained
    1/2 c. chopped green onions (optional)
    lettuce leaves (optional)
    tomato slices (optional)
Preparation
    Place 3 cups water in a saucepan with salt; bring to a boil. Add thawed shrimp.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 1 to 3 minutes after water returns to a boil.
    Drain and rinse in cold water to cool. Peel and devein.
