Sauerbraten - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. red wine (Zinfendel Burgundy)
    1 tsp. salt
    2 onions, sliced
    12 peppercorns
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 lemon, sliced
    3 to 4 lb. rump roast
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in large deep bowl.
    Marinate the roast at least 24 hours, turning roast at least once.
