Chicken Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 hen
1/2 c. onion
2 sticks oleo
1 can cream-style corn
pinch of soda
Preparation

Boil hen in pot with 2 quarts of water until tender.
Remove from pan and remove bones.
Either chop or grind chicken and return to pot.
Add to pot before deboning the chicken.
Cook onion and tomatoes with meat 30 minutes on low.
Add corn, stirring to keep from sticking; add salt and pepper to taste.
Add soda and hot sauce, if desired.
Serve at once.
Excellent for cold weather.
