Tutie'S Whole Wheat Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. bran cereal
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. honey
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    2 c. rolled oats
    3 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. each: cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg
    1 c. pecan pieces
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Mix and let stand 10 minutes the bran cereal and 1 cup water. Combine oil, honey, buttermilk, eggs and brown sugar.
    Mix well to combine and stir in bran mixture.
    Combine in very large bowl the oats, flour, salt, baking soda, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, pecan pieces and raisins.
    Mix the liquid and dry ingredients, stirring until well moistened.
    Let batter rest 10 minutes.
    Bake in muffin tins at 400\u00b0 for 17 to 19 minutes until brown and shiny and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
