Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots
    1 large onion
    1 green pepper
    1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup
    1 c. sugar or 12 packets Sweet 'N Low
    1/2 c. oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut carrots in strips or slice.
    Cook in small amount of water until barely tender.
    Drain and cool.
    Slice onion thin and cut green pepper into strips.
    Combine with carrots.
    Mix remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Pour over carrots, onion and pepper.
    Chill for 3 hours or overnight.
