Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 well beaten eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
    3 c. chopped peeled apples
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. nuts (optional; walnuts or pecans)
Preparation
    Beat all ingredients together, then pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
    Serve warm or cold.
