Fruitcake Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. oleo, melted
    4 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
    3/4 c. halved candied red cherries
    1/2 c. chopped candied pineapple
    3/4 c. chopped dates
    1 c. pecan halves
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Pour melted oleo in a 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.
    Sprinkle evenly with wafer crumbs.
    Arrange cherries, pineapple, dates and pecans evenly over the crumbs.
    Press down gently.
    Combine milk and vanilla.
    Pour over fruit.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool in pan.
    Cut into bars or squares.
