Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 lb. beef, cut in strips 2 inches long by 1/2-inch
    2 onions, diced
    4 oz. can mushrooms or 1/2 to 1 c. fresh mushrooms
    2 tsp. paprika
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 bay leaves
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sour cream (reserve until time to serve)
Preparation
    Sear meat.
    Saute onions (and fresh mushrooms if you use them).
    Add remaining ingredients and cook in crock-pot or on top of stove slowly for 2 to 4 hours.
