Karo Crazy Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. popped corn (use more if desired)
    1 1/3 c. pecans
    2/3 c. peanuts or almonds
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 sticks oleo or butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
Preparation
    Put first 3 ingredients in a large mixing bowl and combine. Cook remaining ingredients 10 to 15 minutes, stirring all the time (a heavy kettle works better).
    When mixture turns a light caramel color, remove from heat and pour over corn mixture.
    Coat well. Pour out on a greased cookie sheet.
    Spread.
    When dry, break in pieces.
    Keep in covered container.
